About Us

Our Story

We specialise in gynaecology and comprehensive women’s health services, our consultant-led team of highly skilled professionals offer you personalised care through our clinics in Galway and Enniskillen, and if your treatment pathway includes surgery this will be carried out by Dr Orla Conlon who (has admitting rights in the surgical facilities of) operates in Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo and Blackrock Health at the Galway Clinic.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to place every woman at the centre of a compassionate, professional, and patient-centred healthcare experience. We combine the latest medical advancements with a holistic approach, ensuring each patient receives the best possible care for her individual needs.

ESTABLISHED 2008

After over 20 years working in the NHS Dr Orla Conlon established her Private Practice in 2008, her impeccable qualifications and experience combined with her unique patient demeanour soon won over patients and their GP’s.

CONTINUED GROWTH

This success and the drive to bring the same compassionate care to more women in a timely manner led to the creation of Marble Arch Health as a home for the same ethos and values. With careful consideration and rigorous vetting (of potential Specialists), Dr Conlon was able to launch a system of care, in line with International Guidelines for Best Practice, that brought in Specialists with exemplary expertise in specific areas of Gynaecology. These Specialists (who) exuded the same professional values and bedside manor to work under Dr Conlon.

OUR TEAM IS BUILT ON EXCELLENCE

Of course this was only part of the patient journey so equal attention was given to building an administrative team who always ‘saw and heard’ the patient first and foremost. Now with a strong referral network and a reputation for excellence, Marble Arch Health is committed to raising the standards of women’s health in Ireland even further, empowering women to take control of their health and well-being. Each member of the Administration team act as the Patient Advocate and recognise the impact that women’s health issues have on their quality of life.

We also have a strong sense of mission when it comes to education to raise awareness of women’s health, and most importantly help remove the stigma which has blighted delivery of Women’s Health in on the island of Ireland.

ENDING THE STIGMA

For this reason, Dr Conlon has embarked on a campaign on Social Media, in the press, radio, podcasts and beyond to highlight specific issues, many ignored such as the impact of the menstrual cycle on women’s daily lives, PMDD, and encourage women to engage in seeking treatment and care with dignity.
